If you are anywhere near Longmont, Colorado on April 11th, 2009, 6:30 pm, join us for a reflective walk through the Stations of the Cross. We will set up all 14 stations around Golden Ponds and take the journey with Christ reflecting on that painful, amazing day where He carried our sins to the cross. This is a long-standing tradition in the Christian church as a reminder of all that Jesus did for mankind.
Last year we walked this walk with 60 people around the lake in what started as a gentle snow but ended up in a painful, icy and windy snow. It certainly added an element of discomfort as we listened to the story in scripture at each of the stations. Perhaps our walk will be a little less difficult this, but if not we will still attempt it whatever the weather throws at us.
